Amy Rogers Nickels , DVM


Dr. Nickels is a Manchester native.  She attended the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and  graduated with her DVM in 1990.  After practicing in Johnson City, Tn for eight years, she and her husband Bill, decided to move back to Manchester with their two children, Will and Anna.  Dr. Nickels practiced part-time for several years after their third child, Cooper, was born.  She opened Pet Medical Center in September of 2004.  Her husband owns his own insurance agency in Manchester.  Dr. Nickels' areas of interest are internal medicine, dermatology and client education.

 


Melissa Prince , DVM


Dr. Prince is a 2004 graduate of The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.  She has been practicing 7 years in a mixed animal practice and joined Pet Medical Center as an associate in 2010.  Dr. Prince's area of interest is soft tissue surgery.  She is also the owner of Prince Veterinary Services where she practices mobile large animal medicine and surgery. She has been living in Lynchburg since 2004 with her husband, Jeffery.  She and her husband enjoy training and competing in triathlons.
